Trainee days:

During their trainee days, the 5 members only greeted each other and had little conversations. Because of their young age and different personalities, the members would get into small arguments Since all of the members had such strong individuality, they had to try to match along with one another. But now, they say that they are like family and their team harmony is the best!!

After Debut:

After their debut stage on SBS inkigayo, Jong hyun cried at the thought of his parents. It was him who cried, but he said that the other members probably cried with their hearts deep down inside. While they were waiting in their waiting room, the members were so nervous that they forgot their lyrics and dance. Once they got on stage, their body and mouth started moving for themselves. After they finished their debut performance, the memebers were so embarrassed that they didn't even monitor their own performance. They were suprised at the amount of fans that attended their fanmeeting. Because they are so young, they had alot of Nuna fans at their fanmeeting. Name: Onew (Leader)
Real name: Lee Jin Ki 이진기
Birthday : 1989.12.14
Height : 177 cm

How he was Casted:

Onew entered middle school and suddenly realized that he wanted to sing. He heard from others that he sang pretty well and so he applied for SM academy, where he got casted.

Other facts:

Nicknamed “tofu”, “Pure tofu”, “ondubu”
He some times introduces himself “I am only~you~ Onew” taught to him by Leeteuk and at times, switches to “Hello, my name is Michael Jackson(sincerely)
Feels shy about presenting himself to people, and because of it, he did not dare to participate in auditions
When he was a trainee everyone else would improve but he seems to be staying stagnant and not improving
To him that was his saddest time of his life so far
The first time he preformed he was so nervous he forgot the lyrics to the song but then thought about his parents and calmed down dramatically
Zones out from time to time
He feels responsible for the group and solves problem

Key is from Daegu, S. Korea. Since kindergarten, his dream was to become a singer. When SM was having a audtion in Daegu, he auditioned and got casted.

Other Facts:

He will go to the CD shop and ask, “Where are the SHINee CDs? Are they selling well?”
He cares about his welfare in outlook in life
JongHyun praised him by sayng “Right from when we are trainees till now, the one who sings really well, dances superbly, gets angry only when it is an occasion to be angry about, makes people feel that “this guy is really amazing!”, that person is Key.”
He has a love-hate relationship with horror movies and horror stories
He yearns for them but he is also scared of them

Minho got street casted. Since he was young, he loved to show people his talent and his dream to become a singer was very big."

Onew once said “Minho looks like a main character of a manga”

Taemin started dancing since the 3rd grade! So oneday he heard about the SM casting and auditioned. He luckily got picked....and till this day, he searches for dance videos and learns from them.

Passes them out whenever he sees a noona
He is good at aegyo
He uses half aegyo and half forcing to get what he wants
Doesn't want other to think he is cute
Before debut he would blink a lot when he is speacking
